Tiny Ted, Hitch and Super Nova rug!

Last spring the annual hairdresser came to give some of our boys and girls their new dos! We have three male alpacas at Catanger Farm and as alpacas need shearing every year their fleece is some what finer than the llamas, who have an extra layer of thicker guard hair, Mary was very excited to get her hands on Tiny Ted, Hitch and Super Novas clips.

Mary has made many llama rugs in the past from our lovely llamas and was very excited about the propect of making a purely alpaca one! As the three boys are all different shades of fawn (Super Nova – a very light cream colour, Hitch a light fawn and Tiny Ted a darker fawn) they went together beautifully.
